Risk based authentication for consumer accounts
Hi Product Hunters! I’m Zain, one of the co-founders at Keyri and I’m excited to share our real time fraud prevention platform with you. Keyri was created a few years ago to make authentication better for real users and far more difficult for attackers. Along this journey, we built a fraud prevention system that leverages accurate and persistent device fingerprinting to identify bad actors and initially included it in our core authentication product. After learning about pain points from our customers that weren’t directly relevant to our core product, we decided to launch our standalone fraud prevention solution to tackle a wider array of fraud issues.
With Keyri’s fraud prevention suite, you can: 🔎 Identify bad actors that attempt to sign up, log in, or transact with multiple accounts 👁️ Accurately and persistently identify devices across web and mobile 🚦 Create custom rules based on key risk insights that will allow, warn (require authentication step up), or deny authentication events in real time 👮♀️ Prevent free trial and promotion abuse 🛑 Stop bots from rapidly creating multiple accounts 👀 Monitor session tokens and user activity to prevent session token theft Would love to get your thoughts and see you join the community of 500+ developers leveraging Keyri for fraud prevention and authentication!

As an added benefit, we are giving anyone that signs up today free access to our scaling plan for 3 months! Big shoutout to the fantastic Keyri team, who have been working tirelessly to build a best-in-class product.
We are excited to hear from you!
@ricardo_luz Thank you, Ricardo! We started out building a passwordless authentication solution but many of our customers also wanted a less secure password-based option for their users. We didn't want those users to suffer from bad actors and so we built a solution that enhances the security of less secure authentication methods.
With regards to your accuracy question, everything starts with ensuring the underlying data we ingest is correct. We spent years building accurate and persistent device identifiers that don't have false positives to ensure that our device fingerprints were accurate.
Once you're ingesting accurate data and have the ability to authenticate events in real time, the final piece is figuring out what events are risky and what to do with those risky events. Our customizable risk rules allow our customers to choose whether to allow, warn, or deny for both common and emerging risk factors.
Thank you for all the great questions!
