湖北公安破获虚拟币洗钱案，累计洗钱数额达 3 亿元
据新华网 8 月 9 日报道，湖北省宜昌市长阳土家族自治县公安局近日破获一起虚拟币洗钱案，抓获犯罪嫌疑人 22 名，累计洗钱数额达 3 亿元。据犯罪嫌疑人付某交代，其从 2022 年 9 月起开始帮助境外不法分子洗钱，每交易 1 万元虚拟货币 USDT，从中获取酬金 150 元。之后警方发现一盘踞在武汉某写字楼中、专门为“跑分”团伙搭建上游涉诈资金交易区块链平台的涉诈团伙，并于 8 月 4 日将主要犯罪嫌疑人金某等 5 人抓获并刑事拘留。
