If you’re seeing this interview draft, it means you’ve recently published on HackerNoon a story that the community found interesting and/or valuable. For this reason, we would like to help the community get to know you better as well as find out some writing tips from you.

While this template is automatic, our interest in the answers below is genuine and our human editors (and some cyborg wannabes) will review it before publishing.

So let’s start! Tell us a bit about yourself. For example, name, profession, and personal interests.

Hello, everyone! My name is Adam Boudjemaa. I've been into blockchain since 2015. Today, I'm a Blockchain Tech Lead and have had the opportunity to work alongside some incredible companies.

One of my contributions to the field includes the development of ERC-6960 and ERC-3643, both standards designed for integrating Real World Assets (RWA) into the blockchain.

When I step away from the digital world, I find joy in boxing, watching movies, traveling, and indulging in 90s video games and music.

Interesting! What was your latest Hackernoon Top story about?

My most recent article on HackerNoon explored Base, Coinbase's layer 2 solution. It's a fascinating topic, showing how blockchain technology is evolving. I also love looking back at my first piece on how "Decentralized Cloud Storage is changing the internet"; I received a lot of positive feedback.

Do you usually write on similar topics? If not, what do you usually write about?

I mostly write about blockchain, its potential, and the innovations it brings to the table. I always try to find connections with real-life scenarios, exploring how blockchain can evolve and be utilized in unique ways that might not be immediately obvious.

I'm currently curious about Account Abstraction and Zero-Knowledge, and I'm planning to write more about the technical side of EVM and Solidity soon. Blockchain is a vast field, and there's always something new to explore!

Great! What is your usual writing routine like (if you have one?)

When I first began writing, my main goal was to improve my English skills. Believe it or not, I relied a lot on Google Translate for my very first article. It was a slow process, taking me several weeks to get it just right. But the effort paid off, and I felt so proud of that piece.

That experience sparked a real passion for writing in me. Over time, not only did my English get better, but I also found joy in sharing my thoughts and knowledge with others.

Being a writer in tech can be a challenge. It’s not often our main role, but an addition to another one. What is the biggest challenge you have when it comes to writing?

The real challenge is taking big, complicated tech ideas and making them easy for everyone to understand. This not only helps my readers but also aids me in my day-to-day job, where I constantly simplify complex concepts.

I want everyone to see how cool and important blockchain and smart contracts are, without getting lost.

What is the next thing you hope to achieve in your career?

I want to make blockchain easy for everyone to understand. It's not just tech stuff, it's a new way to see things. I'm happy to be on this path and curious about what's next. I hope to contribute more to the blockchain world. There's so much to do, and we all can help to make it better.

Wow, that’s admirable. Now, something more casual: What is your guilty pleasure of choice?

I'm a big fan of retro video games. Playing them is like taking a fun trip back in time.

Do you have a non-tech-related hobby? If yes, what is it?

Yes! I like boxing. It helps me stay fit. I also enjoy watching movies and traveling. I do sports for about 6 months every year. The other 6 months? I’m resting 😅!

What can the Hacker Noon community expect to read from you next?

I'm eager to share more about blockchain, especially its real-world uses. I'm also looking at the future, like how blockchain will change finance and other industries. And with AI making waves recently, there's so much to talk about!

What’s your opinion on HackerNoon as a platform for writers?

I used to read HackerNoon on Medium a while ago. When HackerNoon started its own platform, I was excited and jumped in. It's been a great place for me. By writing and diving deep into topics, I've learned so much. It's surprising how much you can learn when you write and study something!

The HackerNoon team is really cool, and they work hard. I'm thankful for this community and the chance to both learn and share here.

Thanks for taking time to join our “Meet the writer” series. It was a pleasure. Do you have any closing words?

Thank you for having me in this 'Meet the Writer' series. It's been an honor to be a part of such a vibrant community. A big shoutout to the HackerNoon team for their dedication and hard work.

For anyone interested in connecting or following my journey, you can find me on LinkedIn, Twitter, and GitHub. Let's keep learning and growing together 👍
