上海“风乌”大模型准确预报“杜苏芮”，精度优于欧美预报
据中国气象局消息，今年第 5 号台风“杜苏芮”于 7 月 28 日 9 时 55 分在福建晋江沿海登陆，登陆时中心附近最大风力 15 级。上海人工智能实验室（上海 AI 实验室）基于原创研发的风乌气象大模型（以下简称“风乌”）对台风路径进行预测，实现了准确预报。基于 7 月 21-7 月 27 日多个起报时刻预报路径及台风实际路径对比，风乌提前 24 小时误差值为 38.7 公里，精确度优于气象预报国际权威机构欧洲中期气象预报中心（ECMWF）的 54.11 公里，美国国家环境预报中心（NCEP）的 54.98 公里；提前 120 小时预报数值对比显示，风乌误差值为 121.4 公里，明显优于 ECMWF 的 293.8 公里以及 NCEP 的 826.5 公里。
