7月23日，马斯克在Twitter发文，表示将把推特的Logo从“蓝色小鸟”换成“X”，“我们很快就会正式告别Twitter品牌，以及所有的鸟类元素。”
目前，马斯克本人的头像已经换上了这个全新的“X”Logo。此外，他还宣布已经将X.com重定向到Twitter.com。

至于为什么要改变Logo？
这或许可以从马斯克转发的推特新任首席执行官Linda Yaccarino的推文中获得答案：
“X是一种无限交互的未来状态——以音频、视频、消息、支付为中心，打造一个创意、商品、服务和机会的全球市场。在人工智能的支持下，X将以我们最初想象的的方式连接我们所有人。”
而马斯克自己，则表示——“我就是喜欢字母X”。
