Collaborate With Us On SAP API Management Documentation via the Open Documentation Initiative

Customer feedback has always been important to us. We love hearing from you because it gives us insight into how you use our products and if our documentation is helping you achieve your goals.

For a complex service like SAP API Management, our documentation aims to simplify the process of creating and managing your API proxies. Now, with the introduction of the Open Documentation Initiative, we offer a unique collaboration channel that enables you to actively participate, provide feedback, and even make edits to our documentation, ensuring that we address your specific needs.

Exciting, right? And it’s incredibly easy to get started.

To begin, you need a GitHub account. This allows you to access our documentation via GitHub to provide feedback seamlessly. Getting a GitHub account is free, and you can set it up here.

Also, we recommend you familiarize yourself with our Contribution Guidelines Process to contribute effectively.

There are two ways in which you can collaborate with us:

  1. Raise issues for a specific document in the SAP API Management guide.
  2. Create pull requests and suggest changes to existing content.

To start collaborating, visit our help portal documentation for SAP API Management.

Here you can:

  • Give feedback for documentation.

To do this, choose Feedback.

Update the markdown output with the information you want to see there. Add a comment about the change you’ve made and create a pull request. We will check your pull request and reach out to you.

This collaboration model will allow your comments and feedback to reach us faster and pave the way for the continuous improvement of our documentation.

Try it today and help us enhance our documentation!
