Support is great. Feedback is even better.

"It's Jointhera's official launch, and we're just getting started on this exciting journey. We are small but growing, and we thrive on feedback – good, bad, or anything in between for our product, website, mobile app, anything. So, don't hold back – share your thoughts with us! "

Hey everybody, I'm Stan, the CEO and Co-founder of Jointhera! Let me share my journey with physical therapy and how it inspired the birth of Jointhera.

Back in the day, my buddy broke his arm and underwent physical therapy. Witnessing his progress, I naively believed every PT could work wonders. So, when I started experiencing knee pain at the age of 25, I thought finding the right PT would be a piece of cake.

Boy, was I wrong! I hopped online, found a highly-rated local PT on Google, and went for a few sessions. But guess what? Nothing changed – the pain persisted. I was baffled. Weren't PTs supposed to fix everything?

Feeling frustrated, I did more research and finally realized the hard truth – not all PTs are created equal. The expertise of each therapist plays a huge role, and I learned that the PT who worked wonders on arms might not be the best for knees. That’s why I saw a high rating for a PT in general, only to discover they aren't a specialist for my specific symptom. To make matters worse, finding the right specialist meant sifting through tons of feedback and comments from all patients. Talk about time-consuming and inefficient!

Desperate to find relief, I tried 5 different physical therapists before I finally discovered the one who truly helped me with my knee pain. You can imagine the annoyance and costliness of the whole experience.

During my recovery journey, I encountered treatments that fell short of my expectations, but I didn't know when to stop or how to help myself. I felt like I was wasting time and money. I even tried learning self-treatment skills, but the vast sea of misleading online health information scared me.

The worst part? I felt alone in this struggle. I craved someone to talk to – someone who understood what I was going through. But there was no place for it, and my friends had similar frustrations with finding the right PT for themselves.

That's when it hit me – there had to be a better way to deal with pain and recovery! And so, Jointhera was born. Our mission is to connect patients with the best PTs in their area, tailored to their specific symptoms, for a smoother and more effective recovery journey. We also want to support PTs, reducing burnout, and enabling them to provide top-notch care.

Jointhera is more than just a product; it's a smart health community for all of us. I'd love to hear your thoughts, feedback, and questions! Let's make recovery better, together!

Love this idea! One suggestion, if you ever intend to expand into Ireland, change the name. Seeing a billboard or ad saying "jointhera" would definitely turn heads here.
@aaronoleary hi Aaron, thanks for the info! I recently came to realize that this name meant something for people in Ireland but for now, we will stay in the U.S! Will definitely change the business name if we launch in Ireland.
Yes, that's a great pain point solver, a handy app. As a runner, I've been checking PT often; that's great to have a solution to find PT according to my specific symptoms. Does the app work worldwide?
This sounds so good! Not every therapist is suited for every patient. Interested in how this product sorts things out, aka how it matches you with the right therapist. Nonetheless, congrats on the product! 🚀
