Many apps also need to meet compliance requirements like PCI, HIPAA, GDPR, and CCPA. Even logging PII in a status or error message is a common mistake.

We built Pangea’s Redact API to detect and mask over 50 types of common PII with just a few lines of code and SDKs available for Python, Go, Javascript, Java, and C#.

Use the standard redaction rules or create your own custom rules. Redact has a broad set of rules to recognize common data types like SSN, Driver’s License, and Credit Card, as well as advanced NLP-based rules for identifying entities like names and locations for dynamic data masking. Custom rules allow the flexibility to create, test, and deploy to meet specific business criteria from one centrally managed location.
