据 TechCrunch 7 月 4 日报道，针对 Valve 将拒绝采用 AI 生成未知版权内容的游戏上架 Steam 的报道，Valve 回应称，政策在不断变化，此前的回应不是对人工智能的立场。
声明表示，“我们知道它（人工智能）是一个不断发展的技术，我们的目标不是阻止它在 Steam 上的使用；相反，我们正在研究如何将它纳入我们已经存在的审查政策。明确地说，我们的审查过程是对当前版权法和政策的反映，而不是我们意见的附加。随着这些法律和政策的不断发展，我们的程序也将不断发展。”
