SecureCo selects Simonsen as CRO

Australian intelligent voice orchestration technology provider SecureCo has appointed Tony Simonsen to the role of chief revenue officer.
"Tony has had a long and successful career leading international companies and has a depth of experience across all forms of technology and industry services that will be invaluable to our team," said SecureCo founder and CEO Paul Bird.
"His strong leadership skills will support our team to perform at a new level as we enter our next stage of growth."
Simonsen joins SecureCo after serving as COO at Payapps.
He previously held the equivalent role at Soprano Design, after working as a regional vice president at Polycom, ANZ managing director at Avaya, managing director at Equinix Australia, managing director at Pitney Bowes Australia, ANZ global services director at EMC, CEO at Allied Technologies Australia, and various roles at Cisco, culminating in that of Asia Pacific director of advanced services.
Simonsen is a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors, and is working towards an MBA from the Australian Institute of Management.
He is also is a founding board director of the youth charity Every Little Bit Helps, and is on the advisory board of ADHD Australia.
