Microsoft’s Nuance to Integrate AI-Powered Clinical Notes App into Epic Systems
- Nuance’s AI solution, Dragon Ambient eXperience Express can generate clinical notes in seconds after a patient’s visit.
- This system aims to reduce physicians’ administrative tasks, and is expected to save about seven minutes per patient encounter.
- The app is to be integrated into healthcare software firm Epic Systems, with a private preview for select users this summer and wide availability aimed for early 2024.
