Support is great. Feedback is even better.
"We'd love your feedback on which Windows/Web features you'd like us to work on first! Currently, you can access all of Optic's features on Mac. We're working to get all features available on Windows soon!"
Hey Product Hunt! 👋
When we switch to remote work, we created Optic to help our meetings run smoother. One of my FAVORITE features is when I’m spacing out during a video call and someone asks me a question — Optic transcribes the meeting in real-time so I can see what they asked me — no more embarrassment from getting caught spacing out!
I also really love Optic’s ChatGPT integration that summarizes your meetings
I also really love Optic because it shows me how fast and how much I’ve been talking. It has helped me slow down my WPM speaking rate when I’m presenting and also cut down on rambling!
I'm happy to answer any questions and would love to hear what you think!
Cheers, Shannon
@kalingwu thank you for your question! Optic runs completely on-device, so no awkward meeting bots to explain around. We also provide a chat interface to ChatGPT pre-prompted with meeting context so you can get assistance in real-time.
In our next update this week, we'll be rolling out facial expression analysis which is our main differentiator.
@ethan_petersen thank you for the response. The running on-device feature is attractive. It might worth make it stands out more, along with all your other features (maybe I missed it somewhere).
Will give it a try!
@kalingwu @ethan_petersen Super interesting. What will the facial expression analysis do? Is it feedback for me the speaker on how I'm presenting myself?
Not sure if this is helpful but I'm someone who religiously uses "Hide self view" in video calls. I could see this being useful if it could give me light feedback on framing or expression while allowing me to keep myself hidden.
