Li Auto CEO Li Xiang announced on Weibo that the company delivered approximately 11,900 plug-in hybrid electric vehicles from June 1 to 11. Li Auto aims to achieve a monthly delivery milestone of 30,000 units in June. Previously, the Chinese EV maker had set an annual sales goal of 300,000 units. However, sources familiar with the matter told Caixin that Li Auto has internally increased the target without providing further details. As of May, Li Auto’s year-to-date deliveries surpassed 106,542 units, more than doubling year-on-year.
