Kyso's CLI tool plugs into any data source (e.g. Github, s3, Domino). It allows users to publish any document type they want (e.g. HTML, notebooks, data apps, markdown), where they are indexed & rendered as beautiful web-based reports with comments & tasks.

Hi everyone! 👋 I'm Helena, co-founder of Kyso alongside my colleague, @kyleos92. We are an enterprise data science startup, working mostly with Pharmaceutical & Biotech companies (although we are industry-agnostic), helping data science & engineering teams better communicate & disseminate their insights to the rest of the business.

We are solving the "knowledge aggregation problem" that a lot of organisations face. This just means that, because there are so many tools used by technical teams now to:

1. Analyse data 2. Track project versions & store research outputs 3. Document & report insights

knowledge becomes scattered across all these different resources, & they don’t play well together.

So you end up with knowledge silos, where results are difficult to share & discover, especially the more modern technical outputs (e.g. notebooks & html). And when knowledge is shared, it’s done sub-optimally; images copy & pasted into PDFs & PowerPoints, or data teams having to document their work in general knowledge hubs. So there is this big disconnection between these presentation tools & the tools used by data teams day to day.

On Kyso you can upload files & write reports in the browser (just like any other knowledge base). But we’ve also built a Command Line tool that allows technical users to plug Kyso into whatever tool or workflow they use to analyse data & store insights (e.g. git, s3, MLOps). And we have a renderer for all the the typical outputs of all of these different workflows (e.g. HTML, microscopic images, markdown, notebooks, data apps, dashboards, and more).

We've just come out of beta after two years of development in collaboration with leading Pharma & Biotech companies, and we are super excited to share our latest functionality: Google-doc style inline comments 💬 + Gitlab-esque tasks on technical formats like notebooks. Please check it out! 🥳

We also wanted to share some milestones we’ve achieved since our last post here 😁

📈 Customised enterprise deployments. We deploy on-prem, behind the company’s firewalls, with no access to public services needed. Your data is logically isolated and stored in a database only your IT team can access. We also build custom features & integrations!

🚀 Comprehensive knowledge indexing & search. You can search full-text on everything - reports, comments & discussions.

Looking forward to hearing everyone’s feedback! ❤️
