The dystopian sci-fi mystery Silo launched on Apple TV+ in early May, and it’s been at or near the top of the ratings charts ever since. Last week, it was once again more popular than any other streaming series.
Plus, the finale of the sports dramedy Ted Lasso put it in the top 10 as well.
Apple TV+ produces hits
Despite being one of the smaller streaming services, Apple TV+ has produced multiple shows and movies that generated big buzz. That’s translated into plenty of viewers — enough to push these series and movies ahead of offerings from rival services.
Over the years, it’s happened with Severance, Black Bird, Shinking, Ghosted and more.
Silo stays a towering hit
Silo is based on the bestselling books by Hugh Howey, and that name recognition gave it boost at the beginning. And weeks later, the Apple TV+ is still pulling in plenty of viewers. Movie and TV search engine ReelGood releases a weekly list of the 10 most popular offerings on streaming, and no series outranked Silo during the week of June 1.

Goodbye, Ted Lasso
Ted Lasso, the series that made Apple TV+ into a household name came to a close last week in a touching finale. And that put the fish-out-of-water comedy/drama near the top of the ratings charts, according to ReelGood.
For those who’ve been living under a rock, Ted Lasso stars Jason Sudeikis as an American football coach hired to manage a British soccer team, despite being completely unfamiliar with the sport. But what he lacks in knowledge, he makes up for with optimism, underdog determination — and biscuits.

Enjoy Apple TV+
Watching either of these comes with a $6.99-per-month subscription to Apple TV+. That’s a lower price than all of its larger rivals. And there are no commercial interruptions.
The streaming service also includes much more than these two, of course. There are dramas, comedies, mysteries, children’s shows, nature documentaries, etc.
