Sure, there’s 18% more content now than there was three years ago. And more streaming services than ever. It’s overwhelming.

But the real issue is existing solutions don’t take our emotions into account. Emotions influence nearly every decision we make. What we want to watch is no exception: it changes based on our current mood.

But sometimes we don’t want to simply match our mood. We want to change it. And that’s the unique, transformative power movies have. 🎬

By tapping into our emotions, stimulating our senses, and creating a deep emotional bond with the characters and storylines, movies can significantly impact our moods.

Directors know this. That’s why every decision they make is intentional. The music, lighting, shot composition, editing speed, everything. They want to move the audience emotionally.
