Support is great. Feedback is even better.

"Thanks for giving our product a try! We'd really love to know if our site makes a good first impression with you. We realize that load times aren't the fastest at the moment so we've found a workaround to let users leave their email address. Curious if this experience causes frustration at all."

Hey all, I'm the co-founder of Planit Earth and we're thrilled to launch the first iteration of our AI-powered travel planner!

The problem: Trip planning can be overwhelming and time consuming. While some may find excitement in planning, many folks are overwhelmed by the prospect of figuring out where to go and what to do once you arrive at your destination. This typically requires copious amounts of research in order to uncover the major attractions, determine their relative proximities, and weave everything together into an actionable travel itinerary. To complicate things, everyone has different preferences for the types of activities they would like to partake in.

The solution: Planit Earth aims to help travelers shortcut this process by leveraging the power of AI to generate personalized itineraries with a click. We've just launched our MVP and plan to incorporate additional information to help travelers while we continue to fine tune our itineraries. The vision is for PlanIt Earth to become the go-to starting point for your trip planning needs.

I'm excited to hear your thoughts! Constructive feedback on how we can improve the product is always appreciated:)

Guys loving this! Such a clean idea.

Can I make the kindest suggestion? When I land I would love the start with a simple UI and then get detailed later on. I feel like the screen is full of many things I may not need when I land. This would be amazing:

1 Where do you wan to go? 2 How many days? 3 What is the budget? with big simple UI elements.

The speed was not an issue. Love the idea.

@wj_croft thank you for giving our site a try and for the thoughtful feedback! Simplifying the input UI is something we've been thinking about as well so it's great to hear your perspective on this as we work on our next iteration.

As a traveller myself, I am very curious about this. Congrats on the launch to the whole team. Just given it a try and I am impressed. The itinerary is quite good and detailed. Kudos!

Some suggestions: Can add number of people, mode of transport, different currencies and activities.

@nitishkr thanks for the kind words and for the helpful suggestions! Agreed that we can incorporate some of these elements to make the itinerary even more tailored and actionable. We'll do some testing to see which of these we can cleanly trickle in as new options.
This is a fantastic idea. I suggest adding an option to input the number of people, so the cost can be calculated accordingly. Also, it would be helpful to display the total amount of money for the suggested itinerary.
@jorge_aguilar_avendano thanks for the suggestions! Makes a lot of sense to include the total cost of the itinerary. We'll also explore the best way to incorporate multiple people into an itinerary beyond simply adjusting costs (in case there's room to modify/tailor the activity suggestions, etc)
