Hey y’all! If you’re anything like me, you might be ending your day with quite a few redirected Zoom, Figma, and Spotify tabs as you shuffle throughout the workday. Joining back to back meetings, opening Figma files sent to me in Slack, and trying to queue up those songs friends and co-workers shared throughout the day. TabCloser is working to automatically close those in the background while you’re working on the task at hand. Today TabCloser works for Discord invites, Figma files, Notion, Spotify, VS Code Live Share, Webex meetings, and Zoom meetings.

P.S. TabCloser is open source and available on GitHub!

P.S.S. Asana and Linear support coming soon thanks to feedback here on Product Hunt!

@chrismessina The fabulous @caseycavanagh has been testing it in Arc and after a few initial issues I've fixed up, seems to be working a-okay for him on the daily for the last month!
@sethcottle curious! How does this extension work alongside Arc's native tab auto-archiving?
I may be biased as a buddy/beta tester but this plugin is such a gamechanger for my productivity! Way to go @sethcottle!
@caseyjcavanagh thanks for the inspiration, testing, and debugging all of the Arc issues with me. ❤️😘
Been using it so much I genuinely forgot those leftover tabs ever even existed. Simple and to the point. 👍
Does it close local apps too? Or just web-based tabs? Really great though congrats to the team.
