I worked in one of the most advanced R&D centers and didn't realize that getting patents was a very expensive and involving process. I didn't understand that getting patents was a privilege and filtered out people with great ideas from lower economic segments. It just bothered me to know that all the patents I have filed for as an employee would've have been unattainable if I was an independent inventor. As I researched more and engaged with the independent inventor community I realized broader and deeper problems with the patent industry.
As an innovation consultant for that last 12 years, I know how valuable it is to include everyone's voices in the process to create a better solution. I am on a mission to lower the financial barrier by introducing AI at as many levels as possible to reduce expensive $500/hr manual legal fees and processes related to low level tasks.
