Industry-based innovations highlighted during event in Basel

The SAP Conference for Energy & Utilities event, held in Basel- Switzerland last April, allowed innovative tech companies to get their solutions highlighted throughout the SAP INDUSTRY CLOUD booth.

Industry Cloud SAP partners such as Intcom, Exnaton, AsInt, Inc, Evolution Energie, LiveEO, and Net2Grid were some of those careful companies selected to participate in person at the event in Basel, at the stand dedicated only to SAP INDUSTRY CLOUD solutions.

“The face-to-face participation of these companies with their innovations in this type of event is fundamental, as it allows both publicizing to their target audience and having a direct channel with the decision makers of the companies present at the event, as well as addressing in real-time demands for digitalization from decisions makers of the industry “, says Chris Pfendner, Senior Director Business Development at SAP.

Intcom was also a featured partner due to its People Logistics solution called BlueOpex.

The solution, which is now part of the SAP Industry Cloud range of solutions and the only personnel management solution in Latin America, allows companies to save time, and improve the productivity of their teams by simplifying the management of their employees in complex environments.

Intcom’s BlueOpex is a BTP application that allows direct integration with the SAP S/4 HANA CLOUD and SAP SuccessFactors solutions and is available in the SAP Store.

The Brazilian company Intcom participated in the event, and was represented in person by its CEO, Alvaro Antunes, “The Energy and Utilities industry is facing huge challenges in terms of digital transformation both for efficiency and transparency in people management and also for ESG practices, and certainly this kind of event allows the large companies to match these demands straight to the best technologies presented there.”, says Antunes.
