Chinese electric vehicle brand Zeekr announced on Tuesday that it has commenced deliveries of the top-end version of its 001 hatchback sedan. The vehicle is equipped with CATL’s Qilin lithium-ion battery, providing a driving range of 1,032 kilometers (641 miles) on a single charge. This comes a month after deliveries for Zeekr’s 009 multi-purpose vehicle, which was also the first model worldwide to be powered by this high-capacity battery, began on April 16. Zeekr, one of the premium EV brands launched by auto major Geely in early 2021, successfully delivered 23,335 vehicles between January and April.
