新浪科技讯 北京时间5月10日上午消息，当地时间周二，推特CEO马斯克公布了新功能的细节，包括增加通话功能和加密私信。
去年，马斯克提出了“Twitter 2.0 The Everything App”的计划，他说这款应用将具有加密私信（DM）、长篇推文和支付等功能。
马斯克周二在推特上说：“很快就会有语音和视频聊天功能，你可以在这个平台上和任何人聊天，这样你就可以和世界上任何地方的人聊天，而不用给他们你的电话号码。”
开通通话功能后，推特将向Meta家的Facebook和Instagram看齐。
马斯克表示，推特周三将上线加密私信，不过并未透露通话是否加密。
推特本周还表示将清洗一批多年不活跃的账号。
