5 月 6 日的一项补丁显示，Linux 6.3 添加了对 Meteor Lake-S SPI 串行闪存的支持，以及支持设备的驱动程序列表中的 Meteor Lake-S PCI ID 列表。
5 月 8 日消息，英特尔第 14 代酷睿 Meteor Lake-S 桌面处理器支持已作为补丁的一部分添加到即将推出的 Linux 6.3 内核中。
5 月 6 日的一项补丁显示，Linux 6.3 添加了对 Meteor Lake-S SPI 串行闪存的支持，以及支持设备的驱动程序列表中的 Meteor Lake-S PCI ID 列表。
这一消息似乎反驳了之前的爆料，此前有传言称英特尔已经取消了其第 14 代 Meteor Lake-S 桌面系列。
也就是说，按照目前的爆料预测，Meteor Lake-S 台式机 CPU 将包含最高酷睿 i5 型号和 35-65W 的 TDP，与更高端的 Arrow Lake-S 处理器（最高酷睿 i9 和 125W TDP）一同推出，都将支持全新的 800 系列芯片组。

据IT之家此前报道，Meteor Lake 将会采用 Intel 4 工艺节点量产，其晶体管密度（transistor-density）和每瓦特性能（performance / Watt）号称媲美台积电的 N5 和 N4 系列节点。
此外，14 代 Meteor Lake 移动处理器有望改名为全新酷睿 Ultra 系列。
