Say Hello to Your New Personal Assistant: Bing AI on All Samsung Devices

Microsoft Swiftkey

Sammobile reports that the SwiftKey team has begun rolling out the Bing AI upgrade to Samsung users. This means that Samsung Galaxy owners are able to use the latest Bing AI functionality from Microsoft SwiftKey.

If you have a Samsung Galaxy device and want to try out the new Bing AI functionality on it, you need to check whether SwiftKey has been updated to version 9.10.11.10. As usual, it’s being rolled out in batches. So the update might arrive in your region not immediately. But @SwiftKey said that it should be available to everyone “in the next few days.”

By the way, this upgrade became available for iOS and Android in mid-April. So the difference is that the SwiftKey keyboard built into Samsung’s One UI is getting its own update.

Of course, if you do not like SwiftKey, you can ignore both Bing AI and SwiftKey altogether. Instead, you can use the Samsung keyboard. But there is a risk that SwiftKey embedded in One UI might cause conflicts with the original keyboard. Moreover, Bing AI is now installed on virtually every Galaxy device and cannot be removed.

Here are three ways to connect to Bing AI

Microsoft launched Bing AI for SwiftKey last month. At that time, we learned that the AI works with the digital keyboard app in three ways: Search, Chat, and Tone.

The Search feature allows users to quickly search the web without having to switch apps.

Users can use the Chat feature to reach out to Bing for more in-depth searches and conversation ideas.

SwiftKey users can use the Tone feature to communicate more effectively by letting the AI adjust their writing as they speak. They can tell this tech to rephrase material more formally and generally adjust the tone of the text to suit the occasion.
