快科技4月25日消息，据MacRumors报道，一位名叫Bridger Woods的学生讲述了他利用iPhone 14卫星通信功能顺利脱险的经历。
Bridger Woods表示，他们一行三人在某峡谷内被困一个多小时，有两名学生出现了体温过低的症状，手机没有信号，
最后通过另一名学生Stephen Watts的iPhone 14卫星通信拨打求救电话获救。
据悉，苹果卫星通信功能是iPhone 14系列的重要看点之一。经测试， iPhone 14开启这项功能后需要一直对着卫星，一旦你的手机不小心移出卫星覆盖范围，它会振动提醒。
值得注意的是，使用卫星通信时，呼救者不需要高举着手臂，正常拿着就可以连上卫星。
