快科技4月22日消息，中国首次火星探测任务工程总设计师张荣桥披露， “天问二号”目前已经基本完成初样研制阶段的工作，将在2023年度中期转入正样研制阶段、2025年5月前后实施发射。
天问系列属于中国深空探测任务，天问一号造访的火星只是第一站，而天问二号任务的探测对象， 是国际公认的特殊性天体，近地小行星2016HO3 ，距离地球超4000万公里，且个头很小。
天问二号的主任务将实现对这颗小行星的采样返回，这也将是中国首次从行星际取回样品。
顺带，天问二号还探测一颗新近发现的主带彗星。
