Getac's latest fully rugged laptops deliver 'exceptional' performance

Getac B360 Pro

The Getac B360 and B360 Pro fully rugged laptops are aimed at field-based industries and the defence sector.

Features include Intel Core 12th generation i5/i7 processors with integrated Intel Iris Xe graphics, a 256GB PCIe NVMe SSD as standard (optionally up to 4TB), a 13.3in FHD LumiBond capacitive touchscreen display incorporating with Getac Sunlight Readable Technology (1,400 nits), USB 3.2 and Thunderbolt 4 Type-C ports, an HDMI 2.0 port, a mini-SIM card slot, and dual hot-swappable batteries.

Connectivity features include Wi-Fi 6E AX211, 802.11ax, and Bluetooth 5.3 as standard, with optional 4G LTE or 5G Sub-6 with integrated GPS.

The B360 Pro gives the options of an Nvidia GeForce GTX1650 4GB GPU and an additional media bay to accommodate a third SATA SSD (for up to 6TB storage capacity), a third battery, or a DVD drive.

Both models are MIL-STD-810H, MIL-STD-461G and IP66 certified, and are drop resistant up to 6ft (1.8m), with a three-year warranty that includes accidental damage cover.

Data security features include multi-factor authentication options (Windows Hello Webcam, high-frequency RFID, smartcard, and fingerprint reader), optional absolute persistence software, and user replaceable PCIe NVMe SSD storage.

Getac Technology president Rick Hwang said "The next generation of our B360 and B360 Pro devices are designed to help customers achieve even greater levels of productivity across their workforces, both in and out of the field. The combination of fully rugged design, powerful specifications, extensive connectivity, and compact form factor helps ensure difficult tasks get completed at first time of asking, regardless of the situation, location, or weather conditions."

The B360 and B360 Pro will be available later in April. Prices have not been announced.
