据中国网消息，4 月 20 日，工业和信息化部总工程师、新闻发言人赵志国表示，下一步，将推动 6G、光通信、量子通信等关键核心技术加速突破，加大人工智能、区块链、数字孪生等前沿技术研发力度。攻克一批“卡脖子”关键领域，提升产业链供应链韧性和安全水平。大力推进 5G、千兆光网等新一代信息通信技术在垂直行业、信息消费、社会民生等领域的融合应用，推动工业互联网规模应用，聚焦重点领域形成创新应用示范标杆，助力产业数字化转型。
