Snap 收购 3D 扫描初创公司 Th3rd

日前，海外平台 techcrunch 爆料称 Snap 于去年第二季度收购了总部位于阿姆斯特丹的 3D 扫描工作室 Th3rd，来自 Th3rd 的四名团队成员加入了 Snap。该公司没有透露收购金额以及条款。
据悉，Th3rd 成立于 2014 年，专注于构建高质量的人脸以及零售产品的数字孪生，为品牌和零售商提供一种大规模数字化产品目录的方法。此前，Th3rd 曾与阿迪达斯展开合作，对其 2500 多双鞋子进行了数字化处理。
Snap 拒绝透露如何将 Th3rd 的能力纳入其公司，Th3rd 的技术或将用于 Snap 的各种 AR 项目当中。近日，Snap 宣布将开始向企业客户提供 AR 工具，新的 SaaS 产品提供了一套功能，如 AR 试妆和尺码推荐技术，以帮助品牌利用 AR 技术，品牌可以将这些 AR 功能直接集成到他们的应用程序或网站中。
