谷歌今年将推出新款旗舰产品Pixel 8和Pixel 8 Pro，搭载新一代Tensor G3定制SoC。与去年的Pixel 7和Pixel 7 Pro不同，谷歌今年的新品会作出一些变化，让用户看起来两者具有更明显的差异性。
据Wccftech报道，Pixel 8的显示屏将由Pixel 7的6.32英寸缩小到6.16英寸，不过Pixel 8 Pro的显示屏尺寸将保持不变，与Pixel 7 Pro一样同为6.7英寸。两款新机型的屏幕都会由三星生产，谷歌选择的面板相比iPhone 15 Pro和iPhone 15 Pro Max使用的档次要更低一些，以节省组件的成本。谷歌似乎有意降低旗舰智能手机的价格，变得更具吸引力。
谷歌之所以缩小Pixel 8显示屏的尺寸，可能与Pixel 8 Pro之间带来更多差异化有关。去年的Pixel 7和Pixel 7 Pro由于差异比较小，有时候不是那么明显能看出差别。更改设计以后，Pixel 8和Pixel 8 Pro两者的屏幕尺寸差异与iPhone 14 Pro和iPhone 14 Pro Max之间是一样的，对于手型较小的用户来说，新的尺寸可能在使用体验上会变得更好。
Pixel 8显示屏尺寸变小会带来一些不足，比如电池容量可能也会变小，除非谷歌将智能手机设计得更厚一些。据了解，Pixel 8和Pixel 8 Pro所采用的显示面板将会在今年5月投入生产，或许两款机型都会引入LTPO技术。
