The OPPO Reno 10 range will consist of three models. Each with different processors to meet the different needs of consumers. These processors will include Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 778G chipsets, MediaTek’s Dimensity 8200, and Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1. These processors will be in use in the OPPO Reno 10, Reno 10 Pro, and Reno 10 Pro+ respectively.

OPPO has chosen the Snapdragon 778G for the base model of the Reno 10 range. This is despite the availability of more recent and efficient chipsets in the Snapdragon 7 range. This is likely due to cost considerations, as the newer chipsets are more expensive.

The Reno 10 Pro has MediaTek’s Dimensity 8200 chipset. The OPPO Reno 10 Pro+ has the Snapdragon chipset 8+ Gen 1 from Qualcomm. It is the most powerful model in the range. The Reno 10 Pro+ has a Sony IMX890 image sensor with 50 MP. It also has an 8 MP camera for the ultra wide angle shots. A third 64 MP camera is available for periscopic optics.

OPPO presented the previous Reno series, the Reno 9, in China in November 2022. There were three models available for comparison with the new generation. It is worth noting this information. However, for Europe, the Reno range gets an update every two generations. And the Reno 10 will arrive at the end of this year.

The OPPO Reno 10 range is a mid range to mid range/high end option. It promises to be powerful and affordable. Overall, it is a strong option for consumers. With a variety of processors and camera options, it should appeal to a wide range of users. However, those in Europe will have to wait a little longer before they can get their hands on it.
