Support is great. Feedback is even better.

Hi there.

Analyzing your data is very important to make the right decisions, but it's not easy to build an analytics dashboard, and it requires a lot of effort, even when using Business Intelligence platforms.

With InsightBase this process is much faster. All you have to do is to connect your database and start asking questions.

You can ask questions like "What's the total number of users?", "Show users grouped by acquisition source", "Show user growth month-by-month", or any question that can be answered by using your database.

Here's what you get: 1. Ask any question 2. Save the results as widgets 3. You can configure the widgets to update in the background at different intervals 4. Share and collaborate with your teammates

Please feel free to create an account and play around with it, there will be a demo project configured for you and you'll be able to start using the platform right away, without connecting any data sources.

Congrats Dan on the launch of your product!

I think it's a great idea to connect your database and ask questions to build analytics. This can definitely save time.

I'm also interested in an On-prem version of your product with licensing, like Grafana, since exposing internal databases is often risky and difficult.

Can you tell me how many types of database connections and chart types you support? ( let's compare with Grafana and Highchart,..)

Anyway, you got my upvote & good luck!

@maxtpham

1. Yes, we have plans for an on-prem version because we understand well that exposing the internal database can be risky. However, until that point, we recommend our users connect with read-only database users and we store the credentials in an encrypted form.

2. In terms of database types: we support MongoDB, MySQL, and PostgreSQL at the moment.

3. You can get results in different forms & shapes: a. String - when you ask for a specific question like "What's the most watched movie"? b. Number - when you ask questions like "What's the total number of users", and "What's the average user age"? etc. c. Graphs - pie, area, line, bar charts.

Thank you for your support and the upvote! Feel free to send us a message if you need more details.

Incredible I like the switch in terms of approach ! Completely different of what we see on the actual market
