北京时间4月7日早间消息，据报道，几天前，马斯克将Twitter蓝色小鸟Logo换成柴犬，而柴犬与马斯克力捧的狗狗币（Dogecoin）有着密切联系，因此狗狗币价格大涨。然而现在Twitter又将标志换回蓝色小鸟，投资者抛售狗狗币，导致狗狗币价格大跌9%。
2013年马斯克以近乎玩笑的方式“创造”加密货币狗狗币，而且允许消费者用狗狗币购买特斯拉汽车。美国时间周一马斯克将蓝色小鸟标志换成柴犬，当时狗狗币的价格为10.5美分，现在已经跌至8.4美分。
自周一Twitter更换标志后，狗狗币价格一度上涨约30%，但相比2021年高点仍然低很多。许多狗狗币持有者因为换标受益，他们纷纷在Discord社区向马斯克表达谢意。马斯克一直以来极力鼓吹狗狗币，但怀疑者将他告上法庭，认为马斯克暗中操纵狗狗币价格。
