本周，卡普空宣布，《生化危机4：重制版（Resident Evil 4 remake）》发售两周已经在全球卖出超400万份。
此前，卡社表示上市两天本作就已经卖超300万份。
为了进一步带动销量，免费DLC“佣兵模式（The Mercenaries）”也在今天上线。只是卡社实实在在践行了那句“免费才是最贵的”，模式中各种微交易、氪金升级武器等已经引发吐槽，据说后续解锁威斯克和艾达王两个可玩角色也要付费……
另外，在M站《生化4RE》的差评也开始刷起来，原因包括艾达王的配音Lily Gao不够性感、阿什莉做了防走光处理等。
