全球存储芯片价格暴跌，同时需求端也是非常的弱，这导致厂商营收暴跌，其中三星、SK海力士更是亏的不要不要的。

据路透社报道，

三星电子第一季度利润预计将暴跌92%至14年来的最低水平，原因是芯片过剩情况恶化，以及数据中心和计算机制造商等买家在全球经济放缓的情况下放缓采购。

报道中提到，三星芯片部门可能报告季度亏损超过3万亿韩元，特别存储芯片营收更是跌倒谷底。

TrendForce之前报告称，广泛用于智能手机、PC和服务器的DRAM内存芯片价格在本季度暴跌约20%，而用于数据存储的NAND闪存芯片价格下跌约10%至15%。
