Support is great. Feedback is even better.

"Thanks again for checking out the launch of Albums! I've listed some of the features planned for upcoming releases on the product site – are there any features you'd like to see in that list that I'm missing?"

Hi everyone, thanks for checking out Albums! I'm Joe, and I'm the solo designer/developer of Albums. Over the years, I've become frustrated with the evolution of Apple's Music app, and I decided to do something about it.

Albums is designed for people who appreciate complete albums and like to listen to their music that way. When you launch the app you're not presented with some algorithmic feed of new music, but instead your own personally curated collection of music. There are many ways to sort and filter your collection however you'd like as well as built-in support for loving specific Albums so they show up in the Favorites tab (I use this as an "on-rotation" list of the albums I'm listening to over and over again).

I built this app because I love music and wanted an app that would get out of the way and let me listen to the music I wanted to hear as quickly as possible. I've finally reached the threshold where my perfectionistic-self believes the app is "ready" for people to use, so please check it out and let me know what you think!

I was lucky enough to help beta test Albums and this app rocks. A few things that really stood out to me:

1. **Focus**. Do you have a friend with a vinyl collection and its so much fun to hang with them b/c they can just find a record and create a mood? Albums feels like that. When I use YouTube or Apple Music, I feel like I'm in a feed of noise and distraction. Albums makes me put my phone down and just listen. I love that.

2. **Beautiful**. It feels good to use. Y'all get it. Some apps are built with love and an attention to detail while some apps don't even think about a single animation. Albums works as intended and feels like an app you've had on your phone for years.

3. **More Listening!** The best thing about Albums is that I, well, listen to more music!!! Obvious but the app doesn't just work, it works! Like it changes my behavior in a positive way.

Great work!

@noah_chestnut thanks so much for the kind words! I love the point about focus, well said!
