当我们向手机的闪存芯片中写入数据时，本质上是在切换闪存芯片中的电位状态 ，而不同电位对应不同的状态，例如，低电位是0，高电位是1。
在不同电位状态下，系统整体的能量是不同的。如此一来，我们就能用质能方程E=mc?来计算信息的重量。
美国加州大学伯克利分校的计算机科学家约翰·D.库比亚托维奇就曾用这种方式分析了数据的重量。
