近日，VR 社交应用《Rec Room》在 SteamVR 平台上推出全身追踪功能，在 Quest 上推出手部追踪。
据介绍，全身追踪功能是可选的，无论用户是否有 tracker 等设备，都可以使用。《Rec Room》表示，系统会根据情况在使用虚拟化身动画和 VR 追踪信息之间动态切换，以摆出用户的下半身姿势。
当用户跑来跑去时，虚拟化身腿部会播放相应的动画，一旦停止前进，又会恢复真实的腿部姿势，以便用户可以随心所欲地跳舞和摆姿势。
SteamVR 上的 VRChat 已经支持全身追踪，而 Bigscreen 和 Meta Horizon 中的化身没有腿。Meta 计划在今年的某个时候为其化身添加腿部动作功能，但它们将通过机器学习来估计，而不是由全身追踪硬件驱动。
对于手部追踪，《Rec Room》表示，其无控制器手部追踪将比全身追踪花费“更长的时间”，这表明它最早应该在今年晚些时候发布。
