或许没有人会想到，曾被称为“全球最大游戏展”，云集全球游戏开发商，堪称所有单/主机玩家盛宴的E3展，有一天会因为产展厂商不足而宣告取消。
今天，E3主办方ReedPop在内部信中表示，E3 2023 “没有获得足够的持续关注，无法以一种能够展示我们行业的规模、实力和影响力的方式进行。”
而该公司的全球游戏副总裁Kyle Marsden-Kish也坦诚， 取消E3 2023是一个艰难的决定 ，并表示ReedPop和ESA将继续合作举办未来的E3活动，暗示该展会可能在未来几年内重启。
毫无疑问，E3 2023的停办，与大量厂商宣布退出有关。
