巴比特讯，3 月 31 日，以太坊核心开发者 Tim Beiko 在社交媒体上总结最新一次的执行层会议讨论内容称，以太坊上海升级测试进入最后阶段，最后一个主网影子分叉计划于下周进行，并对最新版本进行跨客户端 EVM 模糊测试。Lodestar 已经发布了一个新的（可选）版本，Prysm 也可能会在升级之前发布。
此前报道，以太坊 Shapella 网络升级将于 4 月 13 日激活。
