Endless Delays Of Apple XR Headset Might Cause Drop In Curiosity

In this context, Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo tweeted that the mass production plan of the Apple XR headsets has been delayed by 1-2 months to the middle and late third quarter. Thus, there is every reason to believe that it may not appear at Worldwide Developers Conference as scheduled.

He pointed out that due to the delay in mass production, this product is expected to ship only 200,000 to 300,000 units this year. This is much lower than the market forecast of 500,000. We should also mention that he predicts that the price of this product will reach $3,000 to $4,000 or more.

For Apple fans, this price may not sound high. We mean, they are ready to pay a fortune for every new iPhone Pro. So why shouldn’t they do the same for a VR headset that will change the world as we know it? But if they do, Apple won’t be competing with other big players in the market. We mean, there are already some models that cost much less and offer almost identical performance.
