日前，WinCentral曝光了微软对Windows 12系统底层正在进行的调整。
名为“CorePC”或者“Windows Core OS”的概念将指导Win12部分开发工作，简单来说就是更现代化，同时更模块化。操作系统会被分成不同的区，允许更快、更独立、更频繁的功能和体验更新，就像现在的Edge浏览器那样。
这些分区在内部开发中可逐个访问，但最终是否会对用户放开，还不好说。
模块化的设计其它好处还包括允许搭建更多样SKU的操作系统，比如仅支持UWP的轻量版，再比如强化AI、云服务及安全特性的企业版等。
