今天，火狐浏览器开发商Mozilla的员工Mike Kaply透露，
火狐浏览器对于Win7、Win8月Win8.1的支持将至少持续到2024年的第3季度。
Mike Kaply称，“在我们发布Firefox 115 ESR之前，我们不会终止对Windows 7/Windows 8的支持，因此对上述系统的支持至少持续到2024年第3季度。目前我们也无法确定何时取消对Windows 7/Windows 8的支持”。
事实上，按照目前的版本推送节奏，Firefox 115 ESR的支持将持续到2024年7月。
据悉，此举是为了增加浏览器的用户群体， Mozilla希望通过延长火狐浏览器对Win7、Win8.1的支持，来吸引这些用户，从而扩大自己的市场占有率。
