3月27日，据爆料人Yogesh Brar消息， 三星有望在今年晚些时候推出新一代的折叠屏手机Galaxy Z Fold 5以及Galaxy Z Flip 5，并且会有一款Tri-Fold折叠屏手机，采用双铰链、三折叠设计。
其实，三星曾经展示过三折叠的OLED屏幕，代表了这种方案的可行性，依托于三折叠的设计， 手机展开之后可能会更类似于平板的尺寸，除了屏幕尺寸更大以外，比例预计也会更为贴近。
三星的三折叠屏手机预计会采用内折与外折两种折叠方案，如果三星真的在今年推出三折叠的折叠屏手机，预计会搭载的是骁龙8 Gen 2 For Galaxy，与三星Galaxy S23系列保持一致。
此外，三星Galaxy Z Flip 5和Galaxy Z Fold 5将使用新的水滴形铰链，可以让内部屏幕以更宽的半径折叠。与Galaxy Z Flip 4和Galaxy Z Fold 4相比，其折痕将更不明显，并且具有IPX8防水等级。
该爆料人还表示，三星Galaxy S23 FE的手机将会被取消，这表明便宜版本的Galaxy S23系列不再发布。
