大众集团第二座欧洲电池厂破土动工

3月21日，大众集团宣布在西班牙瓦伦西亚地区启动建设第二座欧洲电池工厂，按照计划，该工厂将于2026年开始投产，生产统一电池。自去年7月以来，大众相继在德国萨尔茨基特、加拿大安大略省和西班牙投建电池工厂，其中前两座工厂已在建设中。按照规划，西班牙电池工厂的目标是生产可持续电池，初始年产能为40GWh，未来有可能扩大到60GWh；该工厂将完全由太阳能和风能产生的绿色电力供应。
