I have a Redmi NOTE 4 and i just can not use it since i lost the recovery password and dont have the phone number anymore... Im extremely stressed about this situation i need the phone and i cant afford to buy another one. Im trying to solve this situation for 5 hours (i swear) but nothing...
I am stuck on the screen "this device is locked" because i tried to clean the phone by doing a reset factory but instead, i have this problem.
I followed your instructions on how to properly install and configure flashtool and i did everything right i guess but when i click on download, nothing happen (in the step 7!).
And i have to say that when i try to plug the phone, it just can not be shut off since it always restarts and show me the same message, so i had to plug in when it restart (this is the best thing i can do) but flashtool didnt recognize the phone it seems(but windows did) PLEASE help...

Frp only is not enough.
You may try removing micloud totally.
can i ask i follow every steps and yet is i put my phone in EDL sp flash tool is not doing something while pressing vol down to plug it nothing happens what did i do wrong

Hi, did you find a way to evase mi cloud?
I used SPFT and I was able to boot up with out black lock screen till I connect wifi or simcard.
So I am able to navigate my device without problem but always without connect it to the web.
Now I need an idea to clear/delete/lock/uninstall the software mycloud or when I connect to web the screen fall into black.
Any idea?
I tryed also to format+download but without success, I lost IMEI and also codes, but I can't delete the serial code of my motherboard.

Hi bro,
with REDMI 9 LANCELOT I tried to download and also format+download but I can't delete the motherboard code that will be detect every time I try to connect to web.
I see some video where people with a particolar pin, connects two metal parts of motherboard while they are restoring the phone.
In my country some people can resolve my problem but they have to phisically manage the phone, so maybe to erase the motherboard code it need to do something.

Method #1:
This method requires the download of the original stock rom firmware.
This method will ERASE userdata.
This method will LOCK bootloader again.
1. Download and extract the ORIGINAL STOCK ROM FIRMWARE.
2. Download and install SP Flash Tool.
3. Run SP Flash Tool and configure it properly, following this guide: https://forum.xda-developers.com/t/...for-merlin-redmi-10x-4g-redmi-note-9.4229939/
4. Select "Download" tab.
5. Click "Choose" button for finding the Scatter-loading. Go to the folder images, inside the extracted rom and select the file: MT6768_Android_Scatter.txt.
6. Open the download mode selection list and change from "Download Only" to "Firmware upgrade".
7. Press "Start".
8. Plug powered off phone to usb.
9. Wait until it finish.
Done.
Method #2:
1. Download and install SP Flash Tool.
2. Run SP Flash Tool and configure it properly, following this guide: https://forum.xda-developers.com/t/...for-merlin-redmi-note-9-redmi-10x-4g.4229937/
3. Select "Format" tab.
4. Select "Manual Format Flash".
5. Type the ADDRESS of the partition to "Begin Address".
5. Type the LENGTH of the partition to "Format Length".
6. Press "Start".
7. Plug powered off phone to usb.
8. Wait until it finish.
