OTA progress bar in UPDATE hangs at 45% when the notification bar updates realtime.
First reboot didn't get past android one screen after 30 minutes. Forced POWER+VOLDWN to bootloader and then reboot to system loaded within 3 minutes.
Outbound SMS failed with error 0 still.
Digging out PC stuff now to try the unofficial.
Ill report back soon. Ill be installing the unofficial using the official method skipping the Gapps for testing.
I am on yesterdays build, no GApps. Telekom / Germany.
@Finway , just to check, after flashing the ROM did you reboot to recovery and then flash GApps and your mod and then reboot to system?
On A/B devices after flashing a ROM will flash to the inactive slot, so a reboot to recovery must be performed in order to properly flash any add-ons as it needs to fully swap to that other slot.
If Play Store won't connect? You can try to force stop it and clear data and then try to open it again.
If still no go? Unfortunately GApps is missing the proper certs so you will need to backup anything important off your device and then factory reset and then I'd recommend reflashing GApps just to make sure the files are intact and then boot to system.
Unfortunately once the GApps certs are missing? I haven't seen any fixes other than factory reset which I know is a bummer...
Yes,
Clean install is working fine.
Before reset I tried clear cache, and then desperately other gapps
Thx
[...] Only odd observation; my status bar upper left icons are shifted over like 4 positions... hopefully a reboot will fix it.
UPDATE: [...]but not the status bar offset. So I rebooted, and that is now fixed too. \o/
Forgot to add that the status bar offset issue always comes back after a little while, and I found it's a bug w/ having the time centered on it. If I set it back left then centered again, it also fixes it for a little while.
Someone on the Galaxy S5 LOS20 (unofficial) forum has the same issue, so is a general LOS20 (and/or Android 13) issue:
is anyone else having this statusbar bug with icon(s) on the left?! (nevermind the blue line, it's from an app.)
