Shipping Camo in 2020 was a blast, and it's helped a lot of people get crazy good video. We’ve been busy since then, bringing Camo to Windows and Android, adding portrait mode, overlay editing, AR, Shortcuts, Wi-Fi, smart zoom, stabilisation, Safari support and a bunch more.

Today’s our next big step in helping people stand out on video whether they meet, present, stream or create: Camo 2.

Camo 2 takes all the magic of Camo, improves on it, and brings it to any webcam, built-in camera, Continuity Camera device, connected pro camera or action camera to give them next-gen capabilities ranging from light correction with Spotlight through to auto framing face tracking, privacy blur, virtual greenscreen and LUT support.

We’d worked hard on optimisation, getting Camo’s portrait using 3-5x less resources than macOS’s portrait mode, while also looking better. On Windows, we’ve tuned Camo for AMD, Intel and NVIDIA hardware, and built a beautiful new Fluent interface. Our goal for Windows was to ship one of the most beautiful, thoughtfully designed apps in the ecosystem and I hope we’ve succeeded.

If you bought a lifetime licence for Camo, or if you’re on a monthly or annual plan, it’s all yours, right now, with no additional cost. Camo still has a perpetually free edition, too.
