毫无疑问，在游戏众筹的历史中，《星际公民》将是无法略过的，足以被称为“奇迹”的一笔。
这款科幻游戏已经筹得了超过4亿美元的收益，并且直到现在都在通过支付一定金额参与众筹赠送游戏内飞船的模式获得资金。
而比起夸张的金额， 更让人难以想象的是，《星际公民》至今都没有开发完成，甚至当初开启众筹时承诺的内容都没有完全兑现。
同时，作为一款开发中的游戏，《星际公民》往往会在一些意想不到的地方出现严重Bug， 近期更新的3.18版本就发生了类似的情况。
