厉行节约，反对浪费，既是美德，也是法规要求。
3月13日，中消协等八家协会、学会、商会联合倡议称，餐饮浪费有悖于中华民族传统美德，危及国家粮食安全。
其中对经营者提出“三能”，具体包括：
一是“能量化”，即倡导经营者量化所出售的食品的重量、体积、标注主要味型特点、运输及存储要求，重点推进“网络点餐明示食品重量（体积）”，更好地保障消费者的知情权；
